eBay Beanie Baby Zip the Cat, Rare Collectible with Two Tush Tags, Other Errors, PVC pellets. Ships free by FedEx Home Delivery, signature required. Zip is a gorgeous black cat with green and black button eyes and a pink nose with white stitching for her mouth. She has white thread whiskers and white inner ears. Her paws are also white. Zip was released on 10th March 1996, and she was retired on 1st May 1998. Her Birthday is on 28th March 1994. This is a rare Zip, perfect for the serious collector or investor. The rarest element of this Zip is that she has two tush tags! It is next to impossible to find a Zip like this. In addition, she has the following features: The word “do” in the poem is faint due to misprinting. The entire poem is misaligned, shifted to the right No UK after P015 5TX on hand tag Oakbrook is one word instead of two on hang tag and first tush tag US/UK/Germany origin (hang tag) On TM and one R on the first tush tag No Star on the first tush tag 1993 and P.V.C. Pellets on first tush tag Extra space between c and 1993 on first tush tag KR registration on first tush tag No marking on inside of first tush tag Plastic pellets listed on second tush tag Zip is in excellent condition and has been stored in a plastic display case for almost 30 years. There is one important blemish–one of the two hang tags has a pen mark (see photos). Zip was originally stored in a display case in my son’s room–one day, he decided to mark it to show it was his pet! I then put Zip away in storage–don’t worry, I replaced him with a Ganz and another beanie! In any case, today that small mark likely turned a $25,000 one-year-of-tuition-beanie into an opportunity for a serious collector to obtain a rarity at an excellent price! I did learn my lesson–after this, I bought a beanie for each child and an extra to store away! Zip will be shipped in a plastic display case with his hang tag protector.
